Second time around

A friend of mine asked me to be the photographer at her wedding last Sunday.  It's the second marriage for both of them - she's divorced and he's a widower and they have a slew of children between them (many of the kids are grown and out of the house already).  Her family is packing up and moving to London (where he lives) at the end of the month.  I'm happy for her, but sad that she's moving away.

I reminded her I'm not a professional photographer (only an avid amateur), but I think I did a nice job  - and she got my services for free as a wedding gift :)

Here are a few photos from the day, including a rare photo of me!   Enjoy.

Ready to begin.

The chupah.

Shirley provides the pre-wedding mood music.

The bride Esther Mindel (left) with Rae, who organized the wedding.

The groom Gershon with his (future) father-in-law.

The violinist is feeling it!

Seven circles.

Everything in hand.

We did it!

The happy couple with her children.

Me and my girls :)
