Autumn is in the air

Although the weather seems to be clinging to summer, there's the feel of autumn in the air.  Days are getting shorter, the heat kicks on in the morning, leaves are changing colors and falling in drifts on the lawn.  I like this time of year - hope it lasts for a while.

Back to the routine

Sorry to be gone so long.  September was very busy, full of holidays and events and other things that seemed to get in the way of sitting down and posting to the blog.  I hope your September was as nice as mine.

Here are some photos from a walk I took this afternoon.  The weather was great today - sunny, breezy, not too warm.  Some plants are still blooming while others are turning colors for the coming autumn.  And a contented kitty finds a comfortable spot for a little catnap.  Enjoy.
