Today was such a Southern California spring day - starting with "June gloom", but morphing into beautiful sunshine with a light breeze. My garden has realized it's spring, too, by bursting into bloom! Here are some photos of what's blooming now in my garden.
Begonia 'Phoe's Cleo'
Begonia 'Tired Tiger'
Rosa cv Wekplasol 'Flutterbye'
Erigeron karvinskianus (Santa Barbara daisy)
Armeria maritima Mimulus 'Maddie' (Monkeyflower)
Erigeron glaucus 'lavender-pink' (Seaside daisy)
Pelargornium (Ivy geranium)
Sisyrinchium bellum (Blue-eyed Grass)
Cistus x hybridus 'Gold Prize' (Rockrose)
Sphaerulcea bonariensis (Latin Globemallow)
Lobelia laxiflora Cistus 'Sunset' (Rockrose)
Salvia microphylla 'Hot Lips'
Eremophila glabra (Emu bush)
Clerodendrum ugandense (Blue butterfly bush)
Ceanothus 'Concha' (California Lilac)
Super springy photos - just right for post-Pesach. The weather here is similar..although they're predicting hotter days...
