Memorial Day

The photos in today's post actually don't have anything to do with Memorial Day, except that they were taken this weekend. But I've been thinking a lot about the concept of Memorial Day and hope that it means more to people than just a day off from work.

Anyway, here are my 5 photos for this week. The purple house/purple tree was taken on Beverly Blvd and the full moon in Westwood Village, but the rest are from a stretch of Melrose that most people never see.

David, are you still out there? I hope you start posting again. It's lonely out here in the blogosphere all by myself...
